The San Diego American Indian Health Center (SDAIHC) is seeking a full-time Therapist to join the Behavioral Health Clinical team. The candidate will possess a California license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or a licensed Psychologist. Experience with dual diagnosis/substance abuse required. Cultural competence is required.
The Therapist will provide psycho-social assessments both at the clinic and at designated filed sites; Individual, group and family therapy; treatment planning, community outreach and case management as needed. Experience with the urban Native American population preferred.
Preference is filling vacancies is given to qualified Indian candidate in accordance with the Indian Preference Act of 1934 (Title 25, USC Section 472).
